Description
Under supervision of the Registered Nurse, assists in the delivery of nursing care, through use of the nursing process. Considers patient needs, age and outcomes when assisting with care delivery. Follows the nursing plan of care and reports interventions, changes or relevant observations to the RN.
Position Requirements
Education:
  • High school graduate or equivalent prefered, including ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
Experience:
  • Previous experience preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
  • Current South Carolina CNA certification required.
  • BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association).
