The Certified Nursing Assistant provides individualized patient care using age-appropriate skills while under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Requirements
Education:
• Preferred- Graduate of a nursing assistant program or a student of a nursing program that has completed fundamentals of nursing class or on the job training.
• BLS required
Experience:
• Clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Interpersonal skills used to effectively communicate; ability to apply problem solving skills in several situations; ability to cope in stressful environment when dealing with patients, physicians, etc.
