Electrical Engineer

  • Support design, implementation and/or test of complex electrical/electronic equipment and systems
  • Create and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Demonstrate familiarity with military standards and technical orders associated with aircraft wiring and connectors
  • Interpret and implement specific design and test requirements
  • Analyze and support update of technical documentation for legacy aircraft systems
  • Perform technical analysis for subsystem components and/or software, component validation/verification, risk analyses and assessments of component supportability and design effectiveness in the context of subsystem or other derived requirements
  • Apply focused or specialized knowledge to resolve design issues that have an impact to subsystem or task area
  • Perform analyses for one or more subsystem components to include design, fabrication, test, integration, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal
  • Ensure the logical and systematic derivation of component and associated interface requirements into design solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints; identify and quantify associated risks
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education/Training (both required and desired):  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required  

Experience:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area
  • Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Possess Can-Do attitude with ability to identify and execute required steps to bring projects to successful closure
  • Ability to coordinate with team members and subject matter experts as needed to complete assignments
  • Strong professional and interpersonal communication skills

Security:

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
