The Physical Therapy Assistant is a qualified professional who provides physical therapy services to patients accepted for care by the RVNAhealth as prescribed by the attending physician. The PTA works directly under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist assigned to the case and under the overall supervision of the Director of Rehabilitative Services. This position will support the Ridgefield, Wilton, Weston & New Canaan areas.

Requirements: • Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant Program, accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association or equivalent program. • Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Connecticut. • At least two (2) years' clinical experience. Preferred Home Health Experience • Ability and willingness to follow agency policies and procedures and works as a team member. • Strong Communication Skills • Reliable transportation and the ability to drive in all types of weather conditions.
