Summary
Oversee the strategy, development, and implementation of all of our marketing initiatives for each of our brands and companies. You are responsible for developing campaigns, strategies, and initiatives that help promote our brands and Texas Grown wine. Together, we are continuing to grow our world-class Texas wine company. You have the courage to push boundaries while still maintaining unity and focus and having fun.

Essential Functions

  • Develop both brand and product marketing strategies across our portfolio for both new and existing products
  • Ensure a consistent message and brand focus to our customers in both direct-to-consumer, direct-to-trade, and wholesale
  • Plan, prepare, and manage all publicity material and public relations across all brands
  • Develop, build, and create email marketing campaigns
  • Develop marketing campaigns and manage external PR firm's execution as needed
  • Ensure consistent brand presentation in all mediums, including social, web, print, direct to direct-to-consumer materials
  • Manage marketing calendar to include planned campaigns, channels (social media, email, telephone), dates/times, and target audiences in a format easily communicated to all members of our team
  • Track and report on successes/opportunities of all campaigns
  • Track analytics to build efficacy
  • Develop and monitor marketing performance indicators
  • Contribute to and manage quarterly and annual marketing budgets for all brands
  • Plan and manage marketing events to promote all brands and products
  • Maintain marketing staff and daily management of all marketing activities
  • Work closely with the direct-to-consumer and Outside sales teams to support their efforts to meet company objectives by providing appropriate tools and materials.
  • Regularly analyze the competitive environment and consumer trends and report on external and internal opportunities
  • Capable of conducting tastings for the public and trade
  • Expectations include being an active participant in company events to gain guest perspective and insight.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Stand for long periods of time
Travel and remote work
  • This position will require occasional travel to off-site locations but does not require overnight travel except on occasion for events or training
  • This position requires on-site work on a regular basis
  • Travel to and from the main worksite (daily commute) is at the expense of the employee and is not considered time worked
  • Travel between sites during the workday is considered time worked
Required Education and Experience
  • Degree in Marketing or Business
  • 6+ years' experience in marketing management
  • Strong experience in email marketing and e-commerce
  • Food/Beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods experience highly preferred
  • Creation of marketing plans, brand strategy, social media, and online advertising
Preferred education and experience
  • WSET 2 or CMS Certified Sommelier or better
  • Upscale wine program experience

  • Must have excellent customer service skills

  • Good office technology skills (Phones, computers, office applications and systems)
  • Must have the ability to multitask and complete duties, tasks, and projects, despite interruptions
  • Work schedule is typically Mon-Fri, 8 am-5 pm, but may require off-hours and weekend work if necessary to achieve required results. We are particularly busy during the holiday season and on weekends, and it will be necessary to be available during those times, on occasion.
