job summary:

As a Data Subject Access Request Specialist, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of the data subject access request (DSAR) process under US privacy laws, including but not limited to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other relevant state laws. The role will ensure our organization's compliance with privacy regulations by effectively managing and responding to individuals' requests concerning their personal data.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

? Receive and log DSARs, verifying the identity of requestors to prevent unauthorized access

to personal data. Contact data subjects, as needed, to verify request scope. 20%

? Coordinate with IT and other relevant departments to retrieve all data pertinent to the

requests. 20%

? Review and analyze the collected data to ensure that it pertains only to the requestor and

does not infringe on the privacy rights of other individuals. 10%

? Prepare and send comprehensive response packages that accurately convey the data

collected and how it is processed within the organization. 20%

? Ensure responses are completed within the legally specified timeframe, maintaining a high

level of accuracy and confidentiality. 10%

? Work in conjunction with Manager to handle any follow-up questions or disputes from data

subjects regarding their requests or the organization's data handling practices. 10%

? Maintain detailed records of all DSARs processed for audit purposes and regulatory

compliance. 5%

? Train and guide other staff on compliance requirements and the importance of data privacy. 5%
