We are actively seeking candidates for Forming Operators roles on the 2nd shift. Hours for this shift are from 3:00pm-1:00am, Monday through Thursday. What a Forming Operator will do:  
  • Read and understand manufacturing job orders to determine directions and processing of parts to be taken
  • Order material from the warehouse
  • Work safely and follow safety policies and procedures including Lockout Tagout as required
  • Assist in general daily maintenance of equipment
  • Accurately count parts and clocking of time, parts, scrap, etc. in manufacturing software
  • Perform value-added checks and quality checks before beginning work and throughout the process to ensure accurate start and completion of the job order
  • Complete labor reporting accurately through manufacturing software
  • Set up machines and equipment as needed according to the job order requirements or set up sheet information
  • Make boxes, sort, stack, and count parts
  • Train new operators on equipment
  What you need to be a Forming Operator: 
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6+ moths of related experience and/or training
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
