Director of Civil Engineering: Assume ownership of all essential operational tasks and leadership functions. You will grow the practice while reporting to and partnering with an Executive Vice President. You will manage projects with proper support to ensure they are completed on time, and within budget and that the final work product conforms to contract and project requirements. This is a growth role where the Director will be proactive about developing and mentoring other team members.

Responsibilities: Provide a final review of reports, letters, bids, specifications, construction drawings, exhibits, etc. written/prepared by staff. monthly invoicing oversight Plan and assign project work to Engineers, Project Managers & Project Associates. Lead teams that value transparency, sharing, and team-oriented problem-solving approaches. Coordinate and manage internal kick-off, milestone, and closeout meetings for projects. Collect post-project feedback to ID issues and opportunities for improvement. Conduct on-site inspections, document existing conditions, and perform evaluation and analysis of civil/site work-related projects. Record field measurements and perform calculations related to civil/site-related project design. Organize field data to facilitate analysis and problem-solving. Attend on-site and virtual meetings with clients, owners, contractors, and peers. Prepare investigation reports, letters, etc., and bid documents, including drawings and technical specifications. Preparation of Construction Cost Estimates. Resource of knowledge of local and state building codes, regulations, and standards
