Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 120 or more therapy visits per month, offering expert care to our pediatric and special needs clients.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Design and implement tailored Plans of Care, setting both short-term and long-term goals for each patient's unique needs.
  • Document all therapy sessions, including treatment notes, progress reports, discharge summaries, evaluations, and necessary appeals or letters.
  • Maintain professionalism and foster strong interpersonal relationships with patients, families, and team members.
  • Educate and collaborate with families to ensure effective skill carryover and support at home.
  • Stay current with industry standards by maintaining required continuing education units and licensure.
Qualifications
  • A passion for working with children, families, and individuals with special needs.
  • A valid and current Texas state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA certification.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with a range of communication and/or swallowing disorders, including speech sound disorders, language disorders, autism, and other developmental disabilities.
