Job Description: National Great Rivers Museum is seeking a talented and dedicated Caterer to join our team and contribute to unforgettable dining experiences for our visitors and clients. As a Caterer at the museum, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing catering services for a variety of events, including private functions, corporate gatherings, and special occasions. Your passion for culinary excellence and exceptional service will play a vital role in enhancing our guests' overall experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Menu Design: Collaborate with clients and event organizers to design customized menus that align with their preferences and event themes.
  • Culinary Preparation: Oversee food preparation, ensuring the use of high-quality, fresh ingredients, and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Food Presentation: Pay meticulous attention to detail in presenting dishes, focusing on both visual appeal and taste.
  • Event Coordination: Work closely with the events team to plan and execute seamless catering services during events.
  • Customer Relations: Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their inquiries and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Staff Management: Lead and supervise catering staff, ensuring effective teamwork and a smooth operation during events.
  • Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with food suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of ingredients and supplies.
  • Budget Oversight: Prepare cost estimates for events, monitor expenses, and strive for cost-effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Proven experience as a Caterer or Chef with a track record of successful catering events.
