CAE Engineer for Global Automotive Company in Raymond, Ohio

Join a dynamic team within the CAE department of a renowned global automotive company. We are looking for a versatile CAE Engineer to excel in a fast-paced R&D environment. You'll be a key player in developing, validating, and optimizing CAE methods and processes, particularly for automotive body-in-white and vehicle systems.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Develop and optimize 1D/3D CAE models, particularly for vehicle body-in-white, component strength, and durability.</li><li>Conduct CAE analysis for noise, vibration, and overall vehicle/system/component transfer.</li><li>Model automotive power units and chassis systems, including engine, motor, transmission, battery, suspension, brake, steering, and more, with a particular emphasis on ANSA as the primary software tool.</li><li>Automate CAE workflows and enhance robustness through stochastic processes.</li></ul><br><strong>Required Skillset:</strong><br><ul><li>3+ years of industry experience as a CAE analyst.</li><li>Mastery (3+ years') in ANSA is essential-our team's primary tool and a must-have for all candidates.</li><li>Strong in using CATIA V6; CATIA V5 is acceptable but working knowledge of V6 is preferred.</li><li>Extensive knowledge in specific solver software and experience with various CAE software such as Catia, Hyperworks, Hypermesh, Abaqus, Optistruct.</li><li>Proficiency of computer language/scripting such as Python, Matlab/Simulink, and others.</li><li>Hands-on experience with CAE tools for FEA, MBD, and related areas.</li><li>BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.</li><li>Strong experience with Microsoft Suite.</li></ul><br><strong>Bonus Skillset:</strong><br><ul><li>Previous experience in an R&D environment.</li></ul><br>Location: Raymond, Ohio (Hybrid schedule working onsite 3 days/ week).<br><br>Type: Contract<br><br>Duration: 12 months with a possibility of a 12-month extension
