Job Summary:
Responsible for increasing sales by developing relationships with new customers.
Duties include identifying prospective customers, creating sales leads and building customer relationships.
Duties and responsibilities
  • Identify and establish contact with potential customers.
  • Schedule and perform on-site sales calls with potential customers.
  • Coordinate all details related to customer tours / visits.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for sales lead generation.
  • Provide inside support / customer service for each account secured.
  • Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
  • Develop and maintain sales target list of sales activity.
  • Weekly meetings with Vice President/Sales to monitor progress.

Qualifications
A successful candidate will have refined skills and qualifications to perform required duties including persuasive/effective communication, strong interpersonal skills, and honed presentation proficiencies.
Plastic industry knowledge experience along with submersion in industry trends and current events is preferred.

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Reports to Vice President - Sales
  • Direct contact with Accounts Receivable, Quality, Customer Service, Engineering, Warehouse, Production Control, Purchasing and Tooling Departments
