<strong>IT Business Application Analyst </strong><br><br><strong>This is a Contract to Hire role </strong><br><br><strong>Contract rate: 35 - 39/hr </strong><br><br><strong>Conversion FTE rate - 95,000 - 100,000K </strong><br><br><strong>Not able to work C2C </strong><br><br>Must haves<br><ul><li>3+ years Analytical experince</li><li>Epic Certification</li></ul><br>The position is visible to the hospital's business service lines, and serves as a liaison between IT and those groups. This position is responsible for independently providing application(s) configuration support to enhance department's operational efficiencies/ workflow needs.<br><br>Essential Duties:<br><ul><li>Supports major enterprise applications and others as assigned.</li><li>Facilitates design of business workflow in conjunction with the business units; workflows will focus on improving efficiencies, solving complex workflow issues and incorporating quality initiatives.</li><li>Performs needs assessment, software design, implementation, support, and reporting.</li><li>Coordinates and participates in unit and integrated testing activities of the software to ensure that the design objectives are met.</li><li>Identifies testing scenarios and develops test scripts</li><li>Develops understanding of departments' business processes.</li><li>Identifies and analyzes moderately complex issues and brings problem to resolution.</li><li>Participates in workflow and business process discussions.</li><li>Maintains system security for assigned applications.</li><li>Provides direction to junior team members.</li><li>Leads components of development of end-user training materials and participates in training efforts.</li><li>Assists other team members in ensuring high documentation standards</li><li>Leads escalation of issues with appropriate internal resources</li><li>Assists in the development of policies and procedures in collaboration with the business unit, other team members, and IT management team.</li><li>Independently manages components of application upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and support efforts</li><li>Supports/troubleshoots inbound/outbound interfaces as appropriate.</li><li>Creates reports as needed and works problem tickets.</li><li>Creates and maintains appropriate system documentation</li><li>Collaborates with other application and clinical analysts to ensure system integrations.</li><li>Performs call rotation duties as required.</li><li>Participates in change management activities to support successful system deployments and enhancements.</li><li>Utilizes and maintains appropriate change control procedures and standards.</li><li>Creates reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools to support customer base</li><li>Designs business workflows in conjunction with the business departments; workflows will focus on improved efficiencies, as well as incorporating quality initiatives.</li><li>Performs data collection from business subject matter experts to facilitate design which will represent an improved business workflow.</li></ul><br>Experience & Knowledge:<br><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of IT experience supporting applications is required.</li><li>Must be detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem solving ability.</li><li>Notable client service, communication, presentation and relationship building skills required.</li><li>Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment required.</li><li>Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to use PCs, Microsoft Office suite, and general office equipment (i.e. printers, copy machine, FAX machine, etc.) required.</li><li>Knowledge of SQL databases required.</li><li>Knowledge of LAN, DNS, and networking required.</li><li>Ability to work with servers and apply software upgrades required.</li><li>Knowledge of disaster recovery and backup procedures required.</li><li>Project management experience/skills preferred.</li><li>Experience in a healthcare setting is highly desired.</li><li>Business workflow redesign experience a plus.</li></ul><br>Must have experience working with business or healthcare applications such as:<br><ul><li>Inpatient systems</li><li>Hospital patient flow systems</li><li>Data Warehousing</li><li>SQL Server/SSIS</li><li>Enterprise Scanning and workflow management Applications</li><li>Bed Management Applications</li><li>Finance Applications</li></ul><br>Education:<br><ul><li>High School diploma or GED required.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.</li></ul><br>Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.e. RN, RRT):<br><ul><li>Epic Certification required</li></ul>
