The Little Bit Foundation is seeking a full-time Sr. Family Support Manager. Little Bit has a dynamic staff who are passionate about serving under-resourced students in St. Louis. As part of the Development Team, the Sr. Family Support Manager will play a critical role in furthering the mission of The Little Bit Foundation to make St. Louis a better place to live, work, and play.

The Organization: The Little Bit Foundation was founded in 2001 and is dedicated to breaking down barriers to learning for under-resourced students in the St. Louis area by providing for their basic needs, along with full wraparound services and academic support. We serve 17,000 students in 54 partner schools across the region. In every school, Little Bit provides programs and partnerships that support district and school performance goals and address the needs of the whole child. We do this by working one-on-one with each student to support his or her personal care, classroom preparedness, health and wellness, academic enrichment, and college and career readiness. The results are positive personal growth and increased self-esteem in students impacted by poverty, with the ultimate goal to help students be successful in the classroom to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for managing the delivery of behavioral health services, providing guidance and supervision to Family Support staff as well as ensuring the consistency of standards/service delivery within the TLBF service model.

Service Responsibilities:

Ensure the provision of relevant, competent service to all children, families and communities who either request or are determined to require assistance with their daily living from the initial point of contact to conclusion.

Ensure the assignment and consistent, active involvement of all assigned staff to build and maintain relationships with School District partners, including supporting existing partners, and navigating future growth opportunities

Completes and records initial and on-going assessments and service plans for all assigned cases.

Build and maintain relationships with partners, and nurtures future opportunities

When necessary, acquire additional resources to support and enhance service delivery.

Represent the Little Bit Foundation at community meetings, School District collaboration meetings and care team meetings in partner schools.

Oversee and provide school and community-based case management, skills training/development, and other services to children and their families and ensure quality measures are met.

Provides support and consultation to school-based case managers as needed to assist with time management, documentation, and adherence to agency standards.

Ensure that periodic programming reviews and monitoring occur: Observation of programs and data, and face–to–face supervision of staff providing direct services. Assures a systemized review of program status or progress, evaluates the data reviewed, and directs programmatic modification or adjustments. Collaborate with School Districts and Community Partners to ensure all reporting requirements are done in a timely manner.

Responsible for working with children and their families referred from the school. This position may carry a limited caseload, the scope is to be determined by school needs and gaps in services.

Observation and review:of the direct services performed by all staff to ensure staff demonstrate the necessary skills to correctly provide the service and support; Reviews the summary on a monthly basis and submits recommendations of changes to the type and amount of support to the plan developer; Completes at a minimum, six (6) month and annual reviews for services and submits to the plan developer.

Qualifications:

MSW, LCSW, or Masters of Health Administration required. LCSW or MSW preferred.

Bilingual a plus (preferably spanish)

Experience working in school setting preferred

Sound knowledge of human behavior theories, child development, family dynamics and the ability to apply in assessment and planning.
