Come see for yourself and join Gallo Glass: California Pure. Summary Warehouse Utilities are responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in their assigned area(s). General areas of responsibility include carton floor, palletizers, shuttle cars, end of line spurs, stretch wrappers, and MSK bulk baggers. Essential Functions

  • Assist in restocking supplies.
  • Assist in cleaning warehouse equipment.
  • Pull paper with pallet jack.
  • Empty trash and glass bins.
  • Dump glass loads.
  • Hand stack cases during SKU change.
  • Clean up cases between lehrs.
  • Complete all requisite paperwork, including necessary reports of corrective actions taken during shift.
  • Minimize excess glass on the equipment and on the floor.
  • Communicate cross functionally.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing facility.
  • Skilled in performing assignments quickly and adequately.
  • Experienced in maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers.   • Rarely may require lifting up to 80 lbs. with the help of another person.
  • Must be able to stand continuously for 12 hours with lifting, handling, pushing and pulling, bending, and twisting at the waist, reaching and stretching.
  • Sitting occasionally and intermittently up to 2 hours per shift while operating a fork lift concurrently with reaching, pushing and pulling, operating foot controls, twisting the neck and waist.
  • Walking frequently up to 6-10 hours per shift intermittently with standing and sitting.
  • Lifting/carrying at various levels from floor height to waist and up to the chest.
