We are looking for an Environmental Compliance Program Manager that will provide Air Quality, Drinking Water, Wastewater, Hazardous Waste, Spill Prevention & Response, Tanks, and Environmental Management System (EMS) program management and technical support to the installation. In this position you will perform the following duties/responsibilities: Serve as a supervisor for the environmental compliance team on Naval Air Station Lemoore. Analyze new compliance regulations and recommend improvement of facilities, programs, or operations and identify associated projects or process changes. Maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with all local, state and federal government agencies, government officials, community organizations, institutions, staff members and the public. Conduct detailed analysis of proposed Federal, State, and local actions and make recommendations for integrating environmental factors into the development and/or improvement of facilities, operations, programs, policies, and procedures. Plan, oversee, inspect, and ensure compliance for environmental programs of the installation and its tenant commands. Review project designs and contractors' environmental protection plans for environmental compliance requirements and make recommendations for meeting requirements and/or mitigating adverse impacts. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following: Applying federal, state, and local environmental regulations including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Managing the preparation and submission of environmental permit applications, renewals, and modifications, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and submitted within regulatory deadlines. Developing and implementing training programs for staff and stakeholders on environmental compliance requirements and best practices. Fostering a collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development within the compliance team. Computer software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. Multi-tasking and managing multiple programs. Strong written and oral communication skill.

    incentive may be offered POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Valid Driver's License Engineering series: Bachelor's ofScience in a related field and registration as a Professional Engineer or Physical Scientist: Bachelor's of Science in physical science, engineering, or mathematics that included 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics. or Combination of education and experience -- education equivalent to one of the majors shown in A above that included at least 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
