Valley View is seeking a skilled and experienced General Surgeon with a Breast Surgery focus to join our dynamic team. Valley View is the regional healthcare leader dedicated to providing exceptional care and advanced medical practice. This physician will be joining two general surgeons and a Breast Center team comprised of a plastic surgeon, physician assistant, nurses and support team. Our Cancer Center is staffed with two Radiation Oncologists, two Medical Oncologists and several Advanced Practice Providers. A multidisciplinary patient care-plan is developed and initiated through our cancer center tumor board committee. Position Overview:

We are seeking a board-certified General Surgeon with specialized expertise and interests in Breast Surgery (board certification not required) to enhance our surgical services. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both general surgery, trauma and possess advanced skills in breast surgery. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility alongside a collaborative and supportive team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and enhance the existing breast surgery program at Valley View.
  2. Expertise in the management and surgical treatment of benign and malignant breast disease, including lumpectomies, mastectomies and breast reconstruction.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of general surgeons, plastic surgeons, oncologists, radiologists and cancer center teams.
  4. Stay abreast of the latest developments in advanced breast surgery and general surgery practices.
  5. Participate in General Surgery trauma call in this Level III Trauma Center.
  6. Participate in ongoing education and training activities to maintain and enhance surgical skills.

Qualifications:

  1. Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  2. Board certification in General Surgery.
  3. Fellowship or specialty training in Breast Surgery.
  4. Valid Colorado license
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong organizational and teamwork skills.

SALARY RANGE:

  • $485,513.60 to$728,228.80/annually plus a quality and productivity bonus.
