Emergency Medical Technician Opportunity!
We are seeking passionate and skilled Emergency Medical Technicians to join our team. The position offers a competitive salary starting at $23.91 per hour and a sign-on bonus of $5,000 for full-time positions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess each call situation and provide patient care according to protocols
- Utilize medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, and oxygen devices
- Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide reassurance and information
- Act as part of the medical team leader and take responsibility for scene management
- Drive the ambulance during emergency responses
- Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and ambulance driver's license
- State of California EMT certification
- CPR and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Past work experience in healthcare is preferred
