Overview Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Qualifications * Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. * Experience: One year, preferred. * Licensure/Certification: * Completion of NAI and NA II programs, required. * NA registry as NA I in good standing. Current NA II certification with state, required. * NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. * Additional skills required: BON Health Care Provider. Medication Safety - AME * Additional skills preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
