New Story In-District Services (IDS) partners with local school districts to enhance special education services by providing BCBAs, Teachers, RBTs, and Paraprofessionals within schools. Our mission is to support and empower teachers and paraprofessionals, ensuring optimal outcomes for students with various diagnoses. Through targeted support and professional development, we aim to improve the quality of education and contribute to meaningful improvements across the district.

New Story offers customized and targeted services including assessment, in-school and in-classroom supports designed to strengthen the quality of special education services in schools, providing additional capacity and knowledge to staff.

This role is a 10 month position - paid for all school holidays and breaks, including summer.

Salary: $70-75,000 base salary

RESPONSIBILITIES | WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Provide direct/indirect behavioral services to students and/or teachers and classroom support personnel in either individual or group settings
Provide oversight for one or multiple student's ABA programs in the classroom including oversight for paraprofessionals who are working with the student(s) directly.
Individually assess students to identify learning and program needs
Develop initial programming and ongoing modification to programs as needed
Provide direct intervention, instruction and supervision to classroom support personnel
Monitor program and progress and provide daily progress reporting and data analysis
Provide daily progress notes for school and families
Create functional behavior assessments and related behavior intervention plans and create social skills and/or skill based assessments as needed
Provide consultation to teachers and other behavior support or classroom support personnel
Assist with development of behavior strategies, IEP goals focusing on behavior reduction and replacement behaviors and data collection tools and methodology
Provide instruction for Response to Intervention (RTI)
Provide Behavioral Skills Training (BST) for classroom staff on identified interventions

QUALIFICATIONS | WHAT YOU BRING
Master's degree in psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or other related fields of study.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
2 Years' experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs
