The Christiana Hospital OR Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Rad Tech to work the day shift. This individual will also work every 4th weekend with a rotating holiday schedule
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
  • Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time
  • Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties
  • Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
  • Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
  • Operating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm
  • Burn patient CD's
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3 years' experience as a staff technologist.
  • Completion of two-year program in Radiology Technology is required.
  • Associates Degree in Radiology Science is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • RT Technologist experience preferred
  • ARRT Registered Technologist required
  • Delaware license
  • Certification in CPR
  • Flexibility in hours and duties is required
