Requirements:

• MI license
• Minimum 1 year Required
• 2 Years Med/Surg Experience Preference
• AHA BLS

Will float to other Med Surg unitsMust be willing to work with variety of staff (i.e., RN, LPN, Techs etc.)Floating depends on need- typically float to other units once per week roughly

Must be available the entire week of orientation.

Michigan RN LicenseBLS (AHA)2 Years Med/Surg Experience Preference. Minimum 1 year Required.
Depending on the unit needs could be placed on the following units. We all see a good mix of medical patients and our specialties can be seen belowortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, Surgical patients are GI, urology, hysterectomies, mastectomies.Staffing Ratio 1:6-7 for nightsRatios may flex to 8 patients but RN will be paired with LPN for support in these instancesVariety of staff work on this unit and other Med/Surg units (i.e RNs, LPNs, Techs, etc).
Floating depends on need- typically float to other units once per week roughly
There is no guarantee that holiday time off requests will be accepted as holidays are usually required.
