View Point Health Job Title: Behavioral Health ClinicianJob Code: HCP050/Social Worker, Licensed 1Shift: Fulltime- PRN/19 Hours Per WeekJob Hours: Times May VaryBase Location: Lawrenceville, GADivision/Department/Program: Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit View Point Healths Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit program (Lawrenceville, GA) provides psychiatric crisis intervention and stabilization services toAdults.The Adult CSU operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Under supervision learns to perform psychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Provides counseling/therapy to clients requiring complex intervention. Performs commitment determinations and/or executes orders of involuntary commitments. Duties &amp; Responsibilities: Provides individual and group counseling to the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit - Lawrenceville.Documents client contacts in ECR within 24 hours; provides crisis intervention services as needed including facilitating emergency 1013 hospitalizations as needed; writes SMART treatment plans, completes biopsychosocial assessments, and completes verified diagnoses.Providescounseling/therapy to clients requiring complex intervention.Must have an LCSW or LPC to bill Medicare and complete verified diagnoses.Under supervision learns to perform psychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Performs commitment determinations and/or executes orders of involuntary commitments.Provides individual, family, or group therapeutic counseling and/or educational and skill development sessions as indicated in the service plan.Monitors consumer progress and compliance with the service plan. Writes timely progress notes that relate directly to the treatment outcomes described in the service plan.Assembles, analyzes, and interprets new/updated assessment information about the consumer to assess treatment needs.Identifies unmet needs, reviews available resources, and develop/modifies the treatment plan as indicated.Requests treatment authorizations and re-authorizations within required time frames.Billing targets are required.Provides and bills for services. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND eligibility to be licensed AND Two years of supervised experience in assignment. Preferred Qualifications: At least two years of experience working with children and adolescents in an inpatient facility.Experience and/or knowledge of DBT is preferred.LPC, LCSW, LAPC, LMSW license preferred.Experience making verified diagnosesInterventions, Diagnosing, Treatment Plans.Experience with Carelogic ECR.Experience with Care Logic or other EMR.Is comfortable and proficient with collaborative &amp; concurrent documentation.Experience in trauma-informed care, or trauma related interventions and skills. Requirements/Competencies: Must be able to lift 20 pounds.Requires long periods of sitting/standing.Must have valid Georgia drivers license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.Any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.Other duties as assigned.
