The Behavioral Consultant (BC) performs a variety of job duties under the supervision of the Program Director and recognizes clinical updates and recommendations from the written order. The BC develops and directs the individualized treatment of clients collaboratively with consumers and families. The BC provides consultation, assessment, observation, treatment plan development, data collection, and analysis specific to identified target behaviors. The BC develops and implements an Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) with the child and family, identifying and highlighting child, family, educational, social, and recreational strengths as well as areas in which the individual needs improvement. Provision of this service may include preference assessments, reinforcement, extinction, time-out strategies, or other rehabilitative activities as prescribed by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist and referenced in the client's Individual Treatment Plan.

Requirements:

· Licensed behavioral specialist , or;

· Have a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavioral analysis, or;

· Have a graduate degree in ABA, or;

· Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling, or;

· Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education counseling or related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
