Job Summary: The role of a bartender is to provide an above and beyond service experience and to ensure that all guests are served beverages and/or food in a timely, friendly and high-quality way that follows safety procedures for serving alcohol. It is also the responsibility of the bartender to enrich the guests experience and always show genuine interest in their needs. Benefits Health Insurance - 50% paid by employer Discounted Vision and Dental Insurance Discounted Hotel Rooms Paid Time off / Vacation Pay Sick Pay Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required 1 year of bartending experience is preferred but not required Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages Ability to lift 25 pounds Ability to stand for long periods of time Must have TN ABC license General Responsibilities: Make and/or serve cocktail, wine and bottled or draft beer. Stock bar with sufficient alcohol, garnishments, glass, paper and plastic supplies. Process guest's checks and submit closing paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. Check identification to verify customer is of legal drinking age. Follow Aatmos' standard for Cost Per Pour to ensure highest profitability. Specific Responsibilities: Use hotel software systems as per Aatmos Standard Operating Procedures. Have a thorough knowledge of all menu items Convert and upsell walk in guests by informing guests of the restaurant's offerings. Follow telephone etiquette procedures. Ensure food is cooked, prepared and plated to Aatmos' standards. Ensure drinks are mixed and prepared to the guest's satisfaction Sanitize work areas including countertop, tables, chairs and kitchen equipment. Prepare bar equipment to be ready to use for the next shift. Clean glassware, utensils, and bar equipment. Dispose of all empty cans and glass bottles in the appropriate containers. Conduct inventory of food &amp; beverages per Aatmos standards Handle customer service issues and liability related issues that can arise with intoxicated guests by cutting off alcohol service, asking customers to leave premises during altercation, or arrange transportation for guests.
