About the Opportunity

DMI is looking for a strong Azure Security Engineer to support a Federal customer. 

The candidate be able to:

• Perform a discovery of the customer's cloud security requirements
• Develop and deploy MS Defender functionality and policies to implement requirements
• Understand how integrating any security tool in the environment effects other parts of the infrastructure
• Develop a holistic security stack architecture (FDIC stated “architect compete requirements”) including integrating other security efforts that FDIC is working on outside of this project
• Azure Security tools, what’s available and how to leverage them (specific ask from FDIC)
• Zero Trust
• Trusted Internet Connection
• Migrating applications securely to Azure
• Privileged Access Management (tool and how to use it)
• SIEM, customer uses Splunk Cloud, so any Splunk experience (configuration, deployment, design, maintenance, etc)
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP) how to deploy it, (think ZTNA)
• Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), knowledge of it, not vendor specific, but Zscaler would be nice
• Develop a cyber security roadmap (no dates given, but I’d expect a 5 year plan + milestones)
• Assessment & Authorization tasks (A&A) for the systems
