Bridgeline Staffing is a trusted staffing agency specializing in connecting highly skilled professionals with educational institutions across the country. We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and work with a reputable Bridgeport, CT School District.
As an SLP with Bridgeline Staffing, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students within the Bridgeport community. You will work closely with school staff, students, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services, assess communication needs, and develop individualized treatment plans. This position offers flexibility with both summer and fall assignments available.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting speech and language goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and reports
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development activities
  • Stay updated with current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Connecticut
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably within a school setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to adapt to different educational settings and work with diverse student populations
