Data Collection : Unit Information: Neuroscience Location: Rio Grande Regional Hospital Address: 101 E Ridge Rd McAllen TX 78503 Floor: 2 Building: Main Hospital General Information Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Beds - 49 · Number of Staff – · Type of staff: o Day Shift – Free Charge Nurse, RNs, PCTs, Monitor Tech, Unit Secretary o Night Shift - Free Charge Nurse, RNs, PCTs, Monitor Tech, Unit Secretary · Patient Ratios – 1:4 ratio with max of 1:5 · Type of equipment – Telemetry monitors, Baxter IV Pumps · EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · MedSurg or Tele experience · Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. · Tele or PCU experience · List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Standard nursing procedures- IV, wound care, central line maintenance, foley insertion/maintenance · Best personality Fit: · Fast paced, flexible REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: · ACLS Floating Area(s): · none Dress Code : · Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. · Weekends and On call(if any) · Work Every other weekend, no on call or blocked scheduling · This is a Tele unit that is transitioning to a neuro/stepdown unit.
