Compensation:

$23.00-28.00 per hour depending on experience & qualifications.

How you'll contribute to the team :

As a Service Support Specialist, you will work under the direction of the Service Manager to support the service department by handling various administrative and operational tasks. Key responsibilities include answering and transferring phone calls, dispatching plumbing and HVAC technicians to maintenance and repair sites, and assisting with scheduling technicians and manpower. The role also involves organizing and maintaining digital file structures, data entry, and performing outbound calls to confirm seasonal maintenance work. Additionally, the team member will acquire vendor pricing, communicate directly with customers, technicians, and staff, process accounts receivable, reconcile customer payments, and track details related to customer estimates and inquiries. Other duties as assigned may also be part of the role.

What you'll bring to the table :

The Service Support Specialist will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate strong attention to detail. They should be adept at multitasking and maintaining a professional appearance at all times. Exceptional customer service skills, strong analytical abilities, and a strong sense of urgency are also essential for success in this role.

How you'll qualify :

The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in an administrative, customer service, or sales-related role. They should possess basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge, strong computer skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and basic knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems is helpful.

This role involves extended periods of desk work, requiring proficiency with computers and other office equipment.
