JOB OPPORTUNITY
POSITION: Senior Systems Engineer
SALARY AND HOURS: $123,000 to $127, 000 per year; 40 hours per week.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, plus five years of experience as in the job offered or as Systems Administrator. Experience must include Groupwise, Retain, ZENworks, E-Directory, iManager and Cybersecurity
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES :
•Support the company's environments. Assists with design and leads the implementation and maintenance of all technology related to infrastructure.
•Provides overall Office 365 expertise including solid knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, Azure Information Protection, Azure Cloud-based servers, Information Rights Management, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and related technologies.
•Manages and maintains the corporate backup and recovery processes related to system, network, and remote sites.
•Monitors systems, servers, and auxiliary devices for performance and security. Determines whether adjustments need to be made and confers with appropriate technical support staff and vendors.
•Responsible for technical administration of IT Infrastructure involving Backup, Cloud, Linux & Windows Servers and Workstations, Network, Storage, and Virtual environments.
•Handle escalations from IT Technical Support staff, provide training as necessary, and provide IT Help Desk support to employees.
•Troubleshoot critical business solutions, including but not limited to Windows laptops and desktops, Office 365, Teams, Active Directory, computer hardware, etc.
•Documents, responds to, resolves, and follows up on reported issues through the trouble ticketing system.
