Vital Agriculture is seeking an experienced sales/procurement representative for one of the leading retailers of agricultural products and services in southern MN and northern IA. They specialize in providing high-quality wholesale ag products and services to farmers. Their mission is to empower farmers with the commodities they need to achieve optimal crop yields and sustainable farming practices.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Agriculture Wholesale Representative to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling wholesale agronomy products to new and existing customers, as well as cultivating new relationships with prospective suppliers and buyers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and clients to promote and sell wholesale ag products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to end users and suppliers, including offering product recommendations and answering inquiries.
  • Conduct on-site visits to customers to assess their needs and recommend appropriate agronomy products.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with farmers to ensure a win-win outcome for both parties.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of commodities and in-house supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in sales or customer service within the agriculture industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cooperative products and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
