About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Neuro Spine care at our location in Blodgett Hospital. This unit focuses on providing exceptional care for patients with neurological conditions, stroke, and spinal surgeries, including fusions and laminectomies. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care following professional standards and the nursing process.
- Expertise in stroke care and management of a wide variety of neurological conditions, wound care, drains, and post-operative recovery.
- Utilize the NIHSS Stroke Scale and develop specialized skills in neuro/spine nursing.
Qualifications
- Associate's in Nursing required, BSN required within 5 years.
- Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
