As part of the Planning and Design team , the Design Architect will play a crucial role in leading the design and development of architectural solutions for a variety of commercial, educational, and institutional projects . You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, oversee various design phases, and ensure that projects meet client requirements, timelines, and regulatory standards.

What you will get to do
      Design and Development:
    • Lead the conceptualization and execution of architectural design solutions for commercial and educational buildings.
    • Create detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and renderings using design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Enscape).
    • Ensure designs comply with all building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.


    • Project Management:
    • Manage architectural projects from design through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and resources are met.
    • Collaborate with engineers, interior designers, and other stakeholders to integrate architectural designs with other disciplines.
    • Participate in design review meetings, providing feedback and ensuring alignment with project goals.


    • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide guidance on material selection, sustainability principles, and innovative design approaches.
    • Conduct site visits, field verifications, and assessments to ensure design feasibility and code compliance.
    • Stay current on architectural trends, technologies, and materials to enhance project outcomes.


    • Quality Assurance:
    • Review and approve architectural documents and specifications.
    • Conduct quality checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards.


    • Mentorship and Leadership:
    • Mentor junior designers and collaborate with team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Lead design presentations and communicate design concepts to clients and project teams.


    • Client Interaction:
    • Interface with clients to understand their vision and translate it into creative design solutions.
    • Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and visual materials to stakeholders.
What will make you successful:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant architectural design experience.
    • Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, and construction methods.
    • Familiarity with local building codes and sustainable design practices.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
