Job Summary

The Associate is responsible to provide administrative support, which includes, but isn’t limited to, ordering supplies, data entry, creating reports, filing, and document control

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Daily data entry into SAP and MES;
  • Daily record keeping;
  • Order and purchase office supplies, chemicals, lab equipment, spare parts, etc.
  • Reviews forms/data logs for completeness, accuracy, conformance to standards and facilitates corrective action as necessary;
  • Assists and participates in monthly closing duties on the last day of every month and year-end closing process, which includes but isn’t limited to: reconciliation of SAP and MES data and working extended hours on the last day of each month to ensure accurate and timely closing;
  • Ensure documentation filing is accurate, completed and maintained at all times
  • Use HMI software as needed for data collection;
  • Document control: review documentation for compliance with CJ documentation policy and FAMI-QS requirements
  • Coordinate all Threonine training, track training logs and coordinate their completion
  • Provides reports as requested
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, however business needs may require additional hours worked
  • This position will require working extended hours during monthly, quarterly and yearly closing
  • This position works in an office environment and uses office equipment
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • This position does not supervise the work of others
  • Travel is not expected for this job
  • This position works in an office environment located in a production department
  • This position may have exposure to a manufacturing environment, which includes exposures to moving mechanical parts, high noise levels, vibrations, varying atmospheric conditions and temperatures, hazardous chemicals, high pressure steam, and dust
  • Ability to frequently walk extended distances and ascend/descend stairs to get to work station
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as necessary

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree & 2 years of directly related experience

OR

  • High School diploma/GED & 4 years of directly related experience
  • SAP/MES computer systems experience is preferred
