We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated Registered Nutritionist/Dietician to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will specialize in developing comprehensive nutrition plans, providing dietary counseling, and supporting our clients' recovery through evidence- based nutritional strategies. Your expertise will be essential in helping our clients understand the role of nutrition and establishing healthy eating habits that promote overall well-being.
Conducts nutritional assessment, develops and implements patient specific care plans, and assists in recommending nutrition care plans.
Calculates nutrient content dietary intakes, healthy eating habits, and the importance of a balanced diets.
Facilitate Individual therapy sessions
Provides nutritional guidance and counseling to patients with type 2 diabetes.
Assists with changes to patient's menu, including patient food preferences, and the development of standardized recipes, and portion control.
Develops and utilizes effective lines of communication regarding nutrition information within the guidelines of the protocol.
Monitor and document clients' progress and make adjustments to nutritional plans as needed.
Job Qualification:
Registered Dietician (RD) or Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN) with active licensure in the state of Georgia.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nutrition experience
