Project Accountant
The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and on time. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project budgets
Track project expenses and revenue
Prepare financial reports for project stakeholders
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Collaborate with project managers to identify and mitigate financial risks
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to project teams
Manage project billing and invoicing
Assist with project forecasting and planning
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of experience in project accounting
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
