Job Summary:
The Shop Foreman at Keffer Hyundai in Matthews, North Carolina is a full-time technician/skilled labor/contractor position in the auto industry. This individual contributor role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service and repair department at our dealership. The Shop Foreman will work closely with the Service Manager and other team members to ensure efficient and quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of technicians and service advisors
- Schedule and assign work to technicians based on priority and skill level
- Ensure all work orders are completed correctly and on time
- Monitor productivity and efficiency of the service department
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Train and mentor new technicians on company policies and procedures
- Communicate with customers to provide updates and address concerns
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies
- Assist with diagnosing and repairing vehicles when needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience as a technician in the auto industry
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of work
- Proficiency with computer systems and diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
