ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a New Manager for Shawna Owens State Farm, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers success. You grow our agency through meaningful client relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Primary responsibilities include calling potential new clients to build rapport, identify needs and suggest solutions within Auto, Fire, Health and Life product lines.
  • Meet daily, weekly and monthly sales goals and maintain a fun and healthy competitive sales environment.
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification, as needed.
  • Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.
QUALIFICATION:
  • Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred, but not required.
  • Experience managing client relationships is preferred.
  • Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
  • Dedicated to customer service.
  • Able to anticipate customer needs.
  • Able to effectively relate to a customer.
  • Must enjoy talking with new people and have a genuine concern for their family's financial well-being.
  • Must be competitive, goal-driven, coachable and able to work both independently, without instruction, as well as on a team.

    • Pay starts at $12/hour for the first 90 days.
    • Hourly rate adjusts to $16/hour once fully licensed and meeting production expectations. This can occur at the 90-day mark or before based upon performance and drive.
