Join our client's team on the dynamic 5th-floor Acute Medical-Surgical unit, a 40-bed comprehensive facility specializing in post-operative care for patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal and urologic conditions. As a Center of Excellence for bariatric surgery patients, our client prides themselves on delivering exceptional care. Our client's unit also serves medically monitored patients and those with traumatic injuries transferred from the ICU and Emergency Department.

As a Registered Professional Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch patient care. Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of nursing duties, from assessment and diagnosis to planning, implementation, and evaluation. You'll also be involved in prescribing, delegating, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating patient education and ancillary nursing personnel activities while upholding professional nursing standards. Your role will involve providing both direct and indirect patient care.

Must Haves:

  • Graduation from a State Board accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
  • Preferred six (6) months of experience.
  • Current RN license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification within two (2) weeks of employment.
Salary :   BASED ON EXPERIENCE $27.30  -  $43.50 + Shift Differential
