Position Title: Adjunct Instructor 1 - Product Design Engineering Technology Location: Multiple Locations Department:
This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis.
This posting is used for face to face and/or online instruction. For in-person or hybrid teaching positions, candidates must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. For courses that are taught 100% online, the candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan, Illinois (excluding Chicago), Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, or Wisconsin after acceptance of employment.
Position Type: Faculty - Temporary & Continuing Required Education: 1. Master's degree in field or closely related area or a Master's degree and 18 graduate hours in field which may include Design, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or related discipline.
2. Any Master's or higher-level degree plus a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in field and five years relevant industry experience directly related to course(s) taught.
3. A Bachelor's degree in field and seven years of relevant industry experience directly related to the course(s) taught.
4. An Associate's degree in field and any bachelor's degree plus seven years of relevant industry experience directly related to course(s) taught. Required Work Experience: Work experience based on degree attained. Please see Required Education. Required Licenses and Certifications: Physical Demands:
